In its ruling of 12 May 1998 (312 O 85/98 – “Liability for Hyperlinks”), the Regional Court (LG) of Hamburg decided that by creating a link, a party may be held co-responsible for the content of the linked page. According to the court, this can only be prevented by expressly distancing oneself from such content. As we include several links to various pages, we emphasize that we have no influence on the design or content of the linked pages.
